1. The Planning Department is hosting community meetings to present information and receive comments on the newly released Draft Preservation Element of the General Plan. All meetings are at Planning Department offices, 1650 MIssion St. Drop-in hours are Tuesday, November 20, 11 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (Room 406) and Wednesday, November 28, 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. (Room 403). 3. Book signing and illustrated lecture, by Marc Appleton, author of "California Mediterranean", Friday, November 30, 188 Henry Adams Street. Reception/book signing 5:00 p.m./lecture 6:15. Institute of Classical Architecture and Classical America/Northern California Chapter. $25 for members of CACA/$35 non-members.
