ACTION ITEM
This Friday, June 20, the Rules Committee of the Board of Supervisors will hear a proposed charter amendment to be placed on the November ballot that will establish the Landmarks Board (now advisory to the Planning Commission) as an independent commission. This change, while enhancing the authority of the Landmarks Board, will streamline the review process for projects affecting historical resources.
Heritage supports the proposed charter amendment and encourages you, if you agree, to indicate your support of the change by e-mailing your comments to the Board of Supervisors:
Board.of.Supervisors@sfgov.org.
If you prefer to comment in person, the hearing begins at 10:00 a.m. and takes place in Room 263 City Hall. The item is #9 on the agenda.
