Kerri Young is San Francisco Heritage’s Communications & Programs Manager. Born and raised in San Francisco, Kerri helps to advance SF Heritage’s mission through the production of public programs and neighborhood-based initiatives, and fostering partnerships with the city’s diverse cultural communities. She also helps produce new creative content for the organization’s communication channels. At her previous role at the California Historical Society, Kerri led the Teaching California project, a standards-aligned program spotlighting California’s rich archival resources. Kerri was also an Engagement Manager with the non-profit Historypin, an organization that develops and maintains storytelling methods used by cultural organizations expand their communities.
