The former 773 Turk Street moving into its appointed site at 1735 Webster Street in 1974, part of Heritage’s efforts to save some of the remaining Victorians in the Redevelopment Agency’s A-2 Project Area in the Western Addition.
For 50 years, Heritage has had an unfailing commitment to San Francisco – its history, its architecture, and its culture. We need you now more than ever. Today we hope you will stand with us to protect and promote San Francisco’s shared cultural heritage.
In 2021, Heritage’s mission and capacity are even more relevant to the lives and livelihoods of San Franciscans. The past year of health, financial, and social crises has underscored the fragility of the city’s cultural fabric and the need for Heritage’s work. Thanks to you, we have weathered a difficult economic year and, despite the challenges, continue to identify and protect the places and people that make San Francisco unique.
While so much has changed over the past half-century—even over the past year—the need for Heritage has not. We hope that you will contribute in whatever amount possible to enable San Francisco Heritage to make a difference in every corner of the city. Thank you for being an important part of Heritage’s community.
