Don’t miss the launch of Heritage’s most distinctive Lecture Series on Thursday, July 12 with a panel discussion on modern interpretations of the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards. Panelists Charles Bloszies, Alexa Arena, Tim Brandt, and Charles Chase will discuss whether or not preservation standards stand up today in the context of urban environments like San Francisco. Heritage’s executive director Mike Buhler will ask panelists to address the opportunities and challenges the standards present and their relationship to sustainable practices and policies.

1 Kearny located at the intersection of Kearny, Market, Geary, and Third streets is a fitting venue with its seamless integration of three building types. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the lecture starts at 6 p.m.
