OUT of Site: Haight-Ashbury

Heritage is a proud community partner on OUT of Site: Haight Ashbury, the newest addition of Eye Zen Presents‘ performance-driven, queer history tours. These summer tours will reveal the untold queer history of San Francisco’s Haight-Ashbury neighborhood, a name synonymous worldwide with the hippie counterculture that emerged there in the 1960s.

For select performances on June 12 – July 25, 2021, actor Tina D’Elia will lead audiences on a journey from Heritage’s Doolan-Larson Residence to the erotic underground of Buena Vista Park, to the former site of the notorious Haight Theater, with several points in between.
