On Tuesday, March 9, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to support Parkside Heritage’s efforts to landmark the Trocadero! Supervisor Mar shared the good news through Twitter:
The Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to support our effort to make the Trocadero Clubhouse in Stern Grove the City’s newest landmark!

Next, the Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) will need to approve the designation before going back to the Board of Supervisors for a vote (part of the landmark resolution included extending the time for the HPC’s review of the resolution from 90 to 180 days). The final approval is given by the mayor. This process is estimated to take about a year.
