San Francisco Heritage is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) whose mission is to preserve and enhance San Francisco’s unique architectural and cultural identity. Since 1971, we have protected the city in the face of rapid change. This includes advocacy for historic resources, educational programming, and the preservation and interpretation of two landmark properties.
